Pink Elephant's parking guide
Long Stay – This type of airport car park is available at all airports. Located some distance away from the terminals you will need to allow for the transfer times from the car park to the terminal. Check before booking as it can take up to half an hour from the long stay car park eg those serving T5. It is recommended for 5 days parking or more.
Mid Stay/ Business – This airport car park is recommended for 3-5 days parking. Again a bus ride is involved and parking in these car parks can take some time. They are also more expensive than long stay.
Short Stay – This car park is typically used for 1-2 days. It can be very expensive so make sure you pre book.
On-Airport Parking – This term is for car parks within the airport boundary. Due to the size of different airports you will need to check the location of each car park - Heathrow's on airport car parks are spread out and are located some distance from the terminal.
Off-Airport Parking – As Heathrow on airport car parks are usually very expensive, cheaper off airport options are available if you are on a budget. Pink Elephant car parking at Heathrow is located on the Bath Road in an undercover fully secure car park. The transfer times take minutes from the Pink Elephant car park.
Park and Ride – Pink Elephant is the most famous park and ride car park at Heathrow. Formerley located on airport, it now sits just off airport, at the end of the runway.
Meet and Greet – Pink Elephant highly recommends this service for those who want the ultimate in airport parking. Offered by our sister company Meteor. meet and greet saves time and hassle at Heathrow in not having to park your car yourself.
Valet Parking – Another term for meet and greet parking
One-way Meet and Greet – This service essentially offers the same service as a meet and greet but only for one way. This service can be booked at heathrow on arrival in our Pink Elephant car park.
